What is Follow SMART?
Follow SMART is the first discretionary asset management service launched in Hong Kong. After a customer selects and subscribes to a strategy via the uSMART HK APP, the system will open an independent and exclusive discretionary account for the customer (also known as an asset management account). This account can be understood as a sub‑account under the securities account, dedicated to holding the subscribed funds for Follow SMART. Each time a customer subscribes to a strategy, a corresponding sub‑account is created, where professional investment managers will allocate assets on behalf of the customer.
